JASANZ Launches our Endorsed Scheme Register
- Author: JASANZ
JASANZ is excited to introduce our new Endorsed Scheme Register.
The register includes a list of all schemes that JASANZ have determined meet criteria for credible conformity assessment.
Kylie Sheehan, General Manager Operations, said, “In the past we have published information regarding public and regulatory schemes on our website. With the new website, and the call from proprietary scheme owners for some basic information regarding their schemes, JASANZ has developed an Endorsed Scheme Register to include information regarding those proprietary or conformity assessment body (CAB) owned schemes which we also accredit CABs for.”
The new register is easy to use and navigate. Each scheme entry lists important information, including:
- The name of the scheme
- The version of the scheme endorsed or approved
- Information about the scheme and its benefits
- The accreditation criteria used to accredit Conformity Assessment Bodies under the scheme
- Normative documents (standards) used by the Conformity Assessment Bodies under the scheme
- Contact details for the scheme owner
- Scheme documents are also included where necessary (for regulatory schemes, or where scheme documents need to be publicly available).
Some information, particularly information around proprietary schemes, will not be fully populated on release. However JASANZ staff will work with scheme owners over the coming months to populate the information regarding their scheme. It’s also anticipated that further development will occur around transition information and more in the future.
