APAC leads the conversation on AI Assurance
The APAC Artificial Intelligence working group and its Joint Technical Committees (TC1/TC2) have stepped to the forefront of one of the most complex questions of our time: can we trust machines to decide for us?
From regulatory implications to technological transparency, these are the topics that are being discussed as well as the deep ethical and procedural challenges associated with AI.
The group has aligned its strategy with ISO/IEC 42001 (AI Management Systems), 42005 (Impact assessment), and 42006 (Auditing) which ensures that any deployment of AI whether in the education sector to government decision making, it can be systematically audited, verified, and trusted.
Through the APAC AI Working Group’s thought leadership, the region is making a clear statement in that we do not fear the rise of AI, we prepare for it.
