Know what to trust

Not every certificate is created equal. Some are backed by rigorous, independent assessment. Others are simply self-declared. The JASANZ Accreditation Symbol is how you tell the difference — a visible sign that the certificate it appears on was issued by an organisation assessed and recognised by JASANZ.

Understanding JASANZ marks

JASANZ has two distinct marks, each with a different purpose. Understanding the difference helps you recognise what they represent and where they can be used.

JASANZ Accreditation Symbol

The JASANZ Accreditation Symbol appears on certificates issued by JASANZ-accredited organisations. It's a clear signal that the certification, inspection, testing, or verification behind it was carried out by an organisation that has demonstrated competence, impartiality, and capability through JASANZ accreditation.

Because the symbol represents accredited confidence, its use is carefully protected. It is reserved for certificates issued under JASANZ accreditation and is not a general promotional mark.

JASANZ Logo

The JASANZ Logo identifies organisations that hold JASANZ accreditation. Accredited organisations can display it on websites, promotional materials, and other communications to show their accreditation status. It doesn't appear on certificates, because it identifies the organisation as a whole, not any single certified result.
